Giving Societies

The 1946 Society recognizes donors who have given to the University for three or more consecutive years. The 1946 Society Gold Circle recognizes donors who have given to the University for 15 or more consecutive years.

The Bonnie E. Cone Society, named in honor and memory of UNC Charlotte’s founder, Bonnie Cone, honors those who have made a planned gift to UNC Charlotte. Within the Bonnie E. Cone Society is the Witherspoon Circle, which signifies donors that have made planned gifts of $1,000,000 or more.

The Colvard Society, named in honor and memory of UNC Charlotte’s first chancellor, Dr. Dean Colvard, honors those who have given more than $1 million in their lifetime to UNC Charlotte.
