Charlotte Football Unveils Vision for Premium Seating and Community Events
Updated renderings of the next era of Charlotte Football are now available, as the department has released new images of the tower project at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
Groundbreaking on the project will begin in 2025.
“This project will be the first phase of revolutionizing our fan experience at Jerry Richardson Stadium,” said Director of Athletics Mike Hill. “Not only will it increase our attendance, but the premium amenities we will be able to offer are essential to a high-level game experience at the FBS level. I am thrilled to see this project come to fruition and can’t wait to see progress begin in 2025.”
“This is about more than just hosting football games and lacrosse matches,” Hill added. “This expansion will allow us to utilize the stadium for additional community events and year-round usage by our student-athletes for dining purposes.”
The new tower will feature premium seating inventory including suites, loge boxes, ledge seating, an indoor club, and an east and west deck patio space.
Pricing and sales details for all areas will be released at a later date. Fans who would like to receive the latest information and on-sale details should register at Charlotte49ers.com/StadiumExpansion.
Preview the Tower in Uptown
As previously announced, Charlotte has partnered with global premium experiences company Legends to lead sales strategy, execution, and marketing to maximize Charlotte revenue generation for premium and general seating associated with the expansion.
Legends will operate from a new space at the CO-LAB at UNC Charlotte Center City, which will serve as the hub for the local sales team. Niners looking for in-person dialogue and more imagery of the new premium spaces will be able to preview them at the sales center in Uptown in early 2025.
